Yesterday was Thanksgiving

I was in elementary school. My teacher, I think her name was Ms. Johnson, taught us all about how the pilgrims came to Plymouth. The natives greeted the white man with open arms (that much is true) and taught the white man about the ways of the land. We then dressed up in either head bands with feathers in them or paper hats that the pilgrims possibly wore and ate, just like they did on thanksgiving day! I was all happy, had my native American get-up on and marched off the buss on home to tell my parents how cool that day was.

When I got home my mom sat me down and told me what ACTUALLY happened. The white men came to the natives' home and, with fear, armed themselves against the peaceful inhabitants. From then on, on thanksgiving day that's all I can think about.

Who are we thanking on this Thanksgiving day? So we're thanking someone for food. God? Just a guess? Just a national holiday to thank god for giving us food and celebrating what may have happened. There's no separation of church and state.

Introduction to Massive Malfunction

Massive Malfunction is the band I'm in, and it's also the name of the blog you're reading right now! Let me explain the name. Every government is a Massive Malfunction, every preconceived notion to how you are supposed to behave is a Massive Malfunction, and every religion is a Massive Malfunction.

I'll be talking about religion, politics, philosophy, current events, and so on. Let us start off this post with the occupy movement. I myself am a huge supporter of the occupy movement. And if you talk shit about the occupy movement, fuck you! Republican. The south. The relationship between big business and government has only been beneficial to the richest of the richest. The marsh mellow on top of the sweet potatoes( it's thanksgiving).

Their sweet sweet love affair has only fucked you in the back door. So in conclusion if you talk shit about the occupy movement you don't know what you're talking about. Law of detachment bitch! I suspect the GOP has brainwashed the south to make them think like them on fox news. And the same can be said about democrats. But a large majority of the south supports the GOP, but they don't want to support the farmers and laborers, they want to help out their buddy's up top. The 1%. The opposite of the 'Joe six-packs'. The bi-partisan system is composed of lies to the people that live within the borders of the united states of america.
